Various researches were conducted for defining and describing the dimensions of job satisfaction and employee motivation. There are various theories and models in the organizational behavior which can be used to address the challenges in the organization (Shurbagi Zahari, 2012). In order to address the organizational behavior issues, the organizational model will be efficient for the Wal-Mart as the models will be helpful for the managers to keep on associated with the staff and categorize the issues which are the cause of employee dissatisfaction in the job. The organizational model basically explains the effective ways to treat the staff and how to deal with their issues in the office. In the models of organizational behavior, managers collect information related to strategies and policies and report about outcomes. According to Pinder (2014), system model of organizational b ehavior should be followed by the management of Wal-Mart by focusing on the needs and behavior of the employees within the workplace. System model There are basic five models in the organizational behavior and in this, system model is the most effective and capable model amongst all those five model. Based on this model, managers should focus on the team situation and believe the employees important in the organization in terms of priorities, goals, potentials and talents. So, this is the best way to encourage the employees towards their organizational goals. All the employees need positive work environment, job security and good remunerations. Employee dissatisfaction is the aspect by which employees are unable to manage with the team mates and it is impacting their performance within the workplace. Based on the described case issue, employees in Wal-Mart are not getting pay based on their work. So they are not satisfied with the management of the company. Employees are not provoked enough to perform their job role effectively. So, it is crucial to address this issue in order to success and growth in the future as this issue is affecting the brand image of Wal-Mart in the retail market. There are some potential resolutions for the company to conquer from the issue (Montano Kasprzyk, 2015). Wal-Mart should adopt various methods in order to motivate the employees. It is important to increase the moral of the employees so that they can provide their best to attain the organizational goals. In order to run the business effectively in the market, management of the company should identify the basic needs of the employees. If the employees have undisciplined and rigid behavior then it will directly impact on the working environment of the company. For this manner, performance appraisal will be an effective way to satisfy the employees in their job. According to the Montano and Kasprzyk (2015), managers in the company should provide financial reimbursement to the employees in order to keep them motivated towards the work. Further, to management of Wal-Mart must focus on developing positive work environment for the workers so that they do feel motivated within the company. Implementing system model Wal-Mart should basically focus on the welfare and benefits of the employees within the workplace. Wal-Mart should follow the system model of the organizational behavior in order to keep the employees satisfied and provide the positive working environment. For implanting the system model in Wal-Mart, management of the company must focus on some crucial factors i.e. attitudes, emotions, personality and motivation of the employees. The system model can be applied in the company based on the key factors of the organizational behavior i.e. structure, people, technology, and business environment etc (Price, 2007). In the case of Wal-Mart, it is analyzed that there is the gap between among the employees and top management of the company due to the lack of interaction and communication. This is the reason of unsuccessful accomplishments of the organizational goals. So, it is crucial for Wal-Mart is to fill the identified communication gap by appealing the employees in the decision making pr ocess and giving opportunities to them to allocate their ideas and viewpoints for the successful business. Further, lack of motivation is another point which must be addressed by Wal-Mart in order to enhance the performance and productivity level of the employees (Wheelen Hunger, 2011). Setting goals In case of Wal-Mart, managers need to set effective goals and objectives in order to satisfy the basic needs of the employees and keep them motivated for their job roles. Setting organizational behavior objectives means that clarifying the ideas, focusing with the efforts, using resources and time and implementing the change in order to achieve the goals in terms of satisfying the employees (Carton Hofer, 2010). In case of Wal-Mart, there is the lack of motivation and satisfaction level among the employees and this is affecting the performance of the company in the industry. Along with this, brand image of the company is also affected due to this issue. So, management must take satisfy the employees by paying them based on their working hours. There should an assessable extent to examine the development of the company. In case of Wal-Mart, managers must have effective measurements in order to analyze the psychological needs of the employees while working with the company. Along with this, managers should also use performance review system in order to Wal-Mart is losing its image in the industry because of the lack of communication and interaction between employees and top management. The result is that top administration of the company is not able to identify the basic needs of the employees. By satisfying the employees in monetary terms, Wal-Mart will be able to make best use of resources ( Snell Bohlander, 2012). Employee involvement Success employee involvement needs the managers to maintain and initiate the process of involvement and provide access of resources to the employees. In case of Wal-Mart, there is the need to involve the employees in the business activities and identify their potentials. There is the need to involve the employees in the business operations in order to meet the objectives. It is identified that employees are not satisfied with the management of Wal-Mart so the managers must facilitate employee involvement in order to recognize the value of each individual, understand human motivations, assign people to positions and listening them carefully. For motivating the employees, there are some models related to human behaviors i.e. Maslows hierarchy of needs and McClellands more contemporary model to enhance motivation (Itika, 2011). Conclusion The overall report describes the major organizational behavior issue in Wal-Mart. From the above discussion, it is observed that there is not positive working environment in Wal-Mart for employees. The organizational policies have failed to motivate the employees in order to enhance the performance. This part provides some recommendations which will address the organizational issues and will be effective in solving the current issue. Management of Wal-Mart must focus on offering standard wages to the employees so that their psychological needs can be satisfied. The salary of the employees must be increased along with the economic status of the operating market. Two-way communication system must be developed in the company so that employees can express their ideas and viewpoints in the decision making process. The effective organizational culture should be developed in order to support innovation and provide sufficient growth opportunities. For enhancing the morale of the employee, gender equality must be promoted. To make it effective, Wal-Mart needs to design anti-discrimination policy and apply that effectively. Furthermore Conan Doyle used various language devices in order to describe an interesting setting for the reader in his Adventure of the red headed league, when Jabez Wilson arrived at the location for the red headed league interview Conan Doyle used Exaggeration by quoting from north, south,east,and west every man who had a shade of red in his hair had trampled into the city to answer the advertisement, Doyle used colour imagery to provide a better image of the scene to the reader by quoting, Every shade of colour, they were straw,lemon,orange , brick, Irish setter , livec, clay, flame coloured tint, popes court looked like a costers orange burrow. The Sherlock Holmes stories are structured in a rather similar method, the story always begins in Baker street where the client introduces a case to the detective, then in order to demonstrate his detective skills and to gain the clients confidence and trust, Holmes analyses the client, and example of this is in the red headed league when Holmes said to his client Helen Stoner, I have no doubt you have came in by train this morning. After Proving his Detective skills to the client and after the client tells Holmes about the case, Holmes then usually visits the crime scene, in order to further deduct how the crime had been committed, if any. The next step in the structure of the Holmes stories is after visiting the scene of the crime he thinks about the case Identifies the culprit, Watson usually senses that Holmes is up to something, Holmes doesnt tell Watson the whole thing but only gives an hint, A great example of this is in the man with the twisted lip, after Sherlock Holmes stayed up all night smoking tobacco, he finally deduced the mystery, but he didnt tell Watson who the culprit was or how the crime was committed, but he said I think Watson, that you are now standing in the presence of the most absolute fools in all of Europe, I deserve to be kicked from here to Charing Cross, but I think I have the key to the affair now and where is it? I asked, smiling. In the bathroom, he answered, come on, my boy, and we shall see whether it will fit the lock. The culprit is then caught after being pursued, or killed in the case of Dr Roylott in The Speckled Band, After the Culprit gets caught, Holmes or the Culprit then ends the story by unraveling the plot and they announce how why the crime was committed.  The Purposes of the Sherlock Holmes stories are mainly to entertain, as all of the cases are mysterious and they challenge the reader to solve the mystery Holmes has been assigned, although it is fairly impossible because the cases always have hidden facts that are fundamental in solving the mystery but are not given to you, an example of this is in the speckled band, we are told that Dr Roylott has a cheetah and a baboon, but we are not however told that he had a snake, which effectively would have solved the mystery. Another purpose of the stories were to signify the class divide in the Victorian times , such as between Men Women, Whites Natives , and to inform the audience of the various social issues that occur in the era.  In Conclusion the Sherlock Holmes stories are an entertaining, evocative, epic example of the mental workings of a genius at his own field, and they provide a moral guideline to the audience. The Sherlock Holmes character provide inspiration to the hundreds of thousands people who have read it and the millions more who in the future like I have, would come to enjoy it.

Gamers have never been so spoiled for choice. While the console vs. PC war has been around for ages, consoles today have bridged the gap by finally providing decent multiplayer capabilities. Is this the end of the PC as the dominant gaming machine? Gaming has been around for a long time. It is serious business nowadays. With a host of companies creating everything from award-winning games to those collaborating with businesses on workforce training and development, the area is poised for continued success. And we are creating this success by buying all kinds of games. So what is the difference between the total price of playing games on a console or on a PC? While it is possible to get a PC at about the same cost of a console, it would be such a stripped down version that it wouldnt be able to play the latest games. Consoles such as the Nintendo Wii, PS3 and Xbox360 still offer the best price in terms of gaming power. Even if you buy a 800 pounds PC, it would only be able to play the latest games for about three years. If you look only at the three biggest consoles, the Nintendo Wii is the cheapest console, starting at about 180 pounds. The Xbox 360 will cost you about 200 pounds and a Playstation 3 about 250 pounds. Certainly the Xbox 360 and the PS3 would be able to play the latest games for many more years. Well, there actually is a way to expand the time you can play games on your PC, but it will only cost you more money. A PC has the availability to upgrade. For example, you can change the graphics card for a newer one. This is the most important part of a PC for playing games. This will not cost you as much as buying a total new PC, but in total it will still be way more expansive than a console. But one thing is cheaper for the PC-gamers in comparison to for example Xbox 360-gamers and that is that you have to pay to play online multiplayer games on a Xbox. In most situations this will be free for a PC game. So maybe you are asking now if there are any more advances of playing games on a PC instead of a console. Of course there are. There are still way more games available for the PC than for consoles. On a PC with windows as operating system, you can play like almost every game that exist for windows, even older versions of windows. But on a console you probably can’t play previous generation games. When for example the first PS3 was announced it actually could play PS2 games, but Sony removed this option quite quick. Another reason to play games on a PC is that if you have a very expansive PC it can probably play games with better graphics, but at that point you are limited to the games that are already playable. Future games will probably need a better pc to play it on full resolution. A PC is also the only option for playing big online games where thousands of people can meet each other online, like World of Warcraft. This just isn’t possible (yet) on consoles. You’re choice for playing games on a console or a PC can also depent on the controller. Whereas you play with the traditional keyboard and mouse on a PC, you can play with other kinds of controllers on consoles. The Wii is the best example of that with the motion sensitive Wii remote. There is also a different kind of consoles for playing ‘on the road’. These are called handhelds and aren’t very powerfull, but their advantage is their portability.

Healthcare facilities take awareness of the situation among nurses and chose to carry out the situation in specific ways. The main contributing factors on the current shortage are the steep population growth resulting in a growing need for health care services, a diminishing pipeline of new nursing students, and an aging nursing workforce (Honor Society of Nursing, 2013). Many new managers want new nurses who are worth half the price as older workers; also many old workers are ready for retirement, so they are required to be paid more. Human Genetic Engineering

I will be discussing the controversial topic of human genetic engineering and its pros and cons from a biological and social point of view while also trying to answer the question â€Å"Should human genetic engineering be legal. † Genes control health and disease, as well as human traits and behavior. Researchers are Just beginning to use genetic technology to unravel the secrets to these phenotypes (observable trait caused by a gene). They are also discovering a range of other potential applications for this technology.For instance, ongoing advances make it more and more likely that scientists will soon be able to genetically engineer humans to have certain desired traits (this is already done on mice). Of course, the possibility of human genetic engineering raises a number of ethical and legal questions, although such questions almost never have a clear and straight forward answer. The research of bioethics, sociologists, anthropologists, and other social scientists can tell us about how different citizens, cultures, and religions view the moral boundaries or the uses of human genetic engineering.If human genetic modification Is fully legalized It will be done on the early, early stages of reproduction: from when It Is Just a sperm and an egg to the fetus stage, maybe a slight amount later. At this point of time It Is only legal to perform two types of â€Å"advance reproductive technologies† on humans. The first Is foretelling the egg with sperm In a test tube. This is used to determine the sex and what genes the baby will have, therefore knowing if using a different sperm/egg will be a better choice since one of the genes n the first tested set might be a genetic disease or the parents might prefer a different sex.The second technique is much like the first. Embryos for a genetic disease; only selected embryos are implanted back into the mother's womb. This is called â€Å"Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis. † Now I will discuss what go od can come of legalizing human genetic engineering. Really the most useful application of human genetic engineering is preventing hereditary diseases, disabilities and defects/doodlers. Examples include: Down syndrome, Diabetes, color blindness and even allergies.Stopping these diseases/doodlers before the baby Is even born can help prevent a lot of Issues from happening In the child's future and can possibly save lives. Eventually the disease/disorder will die out because the gene has been removed from the generations making it unable to be passed down. Another application could involve stimulating muscle growth/brain development in turn making the child more athletic or more brainy also changing your child's physical features and traits, such as eye color and hair color.Now for the bad: Although changing your child's physical traits, deciding to make them more muscular or more smart can seem like a good thing to a some people it is also viewed as a bad thing to some people. Thing s like â€Å"a perfect race† could arise from these problems, or â€Å"baby trends,† where it Is trendier that year for your kids to have blonde hair then It Is for them to have black or blue eyes rather than green. This Is generally the topic that Is the most talked amongst the public when discussing human genetic engineering.Other social Issues can be raised such as It Is against â€Å"gods will,† countries creating super human soldiers, countries becoming more like the class system e: people who run business, there is also the issue of the child not having the choice to be genetically modified, the individuality of humans and coasts of genetically modifying also comes into play, such as, can only the rich afford it? From a biological point of view genetic modification could eventually make some genes â€Å"extinct† in a way, where they are no longer needed/deemed useless or maybe they â€Å"go out of fashion.In my opinion, I think that genetic modific ation in humans should be legal, but should only be used for hereditary diseases, disabilities and disorders which help the child but things like letting the parent chose the child's traits do not help the child and he/she also loses their individuality. Also there is the fact that the child doesn't have a choice at what the parents will make them look like. Changing the traits of a child through genetic engineering does not benefit the child and only pleases the parents. Most social issues come from a negative stand point and are mainly on the regulation of it (coasts, who can use it, what countries can do with it). There are millions of youth that are homeless in the United States. The typical ages of homeless youth are eighteen and younger. The chief issues among homeless youth are financial adversity and household clash. Abuse also plays a major role in teen homelessness substance abuse, verbal abuse and physical abuse. Some youth become homeless due to pregnancy, sexual orientation, mental illness and neglect. Others are aging out of foster care and juvenile corrections facilities. The effects of teen homelessness are many ranging from untreated physical and mental health to drug and alcohol dependence. Many youth also fall victim to the prison system and even death due to criminal behavior as a means of survival.
